Web pairing is used on the Eko Dashboard to connect an Eko device via Bluetooth to your web browser. You use it to run an assessment, take a recording, or initiate a live stream through the Dashboard. An Eko device must be paired before performing these actions.
Once your device is connected, your session will stay active until you end it or navigate to another screen in the Dashboard.
Note
Web pairing is only supported on Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers.
-
Turn on your Eko device.
-
In the navigation bar of the Dashboard, click Eko Device.
-
Click Connect. The browser’s pairing window opens and shows a list of Eko devices available for pairing.
-
Click the device.
-
ClickPair.
-
If it’s the first time you’ve connected the device, your computer’s operating system may display a Bluetooth connection message. Confirm the connection.
-
The web pairing screen confirms that your device is connected.
-
The web pairing screen shows your connected device. You can now proceed with an exam, recording, or live stream.
Tip
The browser tab shows a Bluetooth icon when that tab has a device connected on the web pairing screen.
